Awesome place, i was having a pretty bad day. Car breaks down 500 miles from home and my grandfathers funeral. Forced to leave my car and get a bus. Just all but crying im so mad. Not sure I was even in the right place. Alejandro was helpfull and made the situation feel light and not all that horrible. Def the best greyhound experiance ive had ever. Thank you again Alejandro and silversprings md all around made my day

Today, 04-16-26, was a 90 -degree day and this bus station had no running air conditioning. Unacceptable! I felt bad for the nice customer service agent, Alejandro (Dro). He was kind enough to ensure that my daughter and I also benefitted from the air coming out of the fan he was using while we waited for our New York bound bus. But for our pleasant interaction with Dro, I would have given this Greyhound station a much lower rating because the AC should be running if it is 90 degrees outside. Greyhound do better by your staff and your customers! Ensure that your facilities are well maintained. Thank you Dro for your excellent customer service!

Very clean station, with clean bathrooms. The station attendant was very nice, but protective of his clean restrooms. Which he should be.

UPDATED! This the most terrible company you can travel with. Our bus was scheduled at 1:5 am. It is 3:10 and we are still waiting OUTSIDE in freezing weather without any info on when the bus will come, if ever. Greyhound does not even answer our calls. SHAME! Bus came at 4 am after all passengers froze. Not a single word of apology!!! Rude driver. When people complain about lack of heat while on board, he says "It's early in the morning. Good night" and leaves. We froze while waiting and while on board (for 8 hours)!!!

Very helpful staff. Clean, warm, and comfortable waiting area. Bathrooms, vending machines, water fountains, seats all available. Easy walk from downtown Silver Spring. Pizza place and 7/11 across the street. If you buy tickets online in advance, you can get some great deals.
